A Few Days with the Magic Trackpad
I picked up the Apple Magic Trackpad last Friday evening. I’ve always hated trackpads on laptops but the multi-touch gestures on the Magic Trackpad opened me up to try it.
To my surprise, it hasn’t taken much to get used to. I’ve been using it for 2 days and haven’t felt the need to reach for my Magic Mouse. I actually think I’ve gotten used to it more quickly than I did the Magic Mouse. I also like that I can set the tracking speed fast enough that I no longer need to run MagicPrefs.
As much as I’m liking the trackpad so far, I’m not rushing off to give my mouse to my wife just yet. We’ll see how a few more days with the trackpad go before making a commitment like that…
